Relationships Among Computer Science, Information Science, and Nursing Science From an Advanced Nursing Practice Perspective

The interaction between computer science,information technology and nursing has transformed the nursing and health sector and introduced new concepts, including telemedicine, e-health and nursing informatics. Advanced nursing practice has been placed at the forefront of efforts to synchronize technological advancements in healthcare with reforms on human resource management, administration, communication and sustainability. For this reason, advanced nursing practice continues to evolve as an area of specialization and nursing administration at a rate proportionate tothat of technology advances (Manal, Simpson and Rhodes, 2016).
